The Fund shall be managed by a Management Board consisting of:
- a representative of the Instituto da Segurança Social, I.P., appointed by the member of the Government responsible for solidarity and social security, who presides;
- A representative designated by the municipalities of Castanheira de Pêra, Figueiró dos Vinhos and Pedrógão Grande;
- A representative designated by private charities and humanitarian associations of firefighters at district level.

The members of the Management Board shall not receive any remuneration, allowance or compensation for the performance of their duties.
